Principal's Bio

Bio for Brent Adcox

Brent Adcox came to Cornersville School from Connelly Middle School in 1995.  At CHS, he was a history teacher and the head baseball coach, head girls and boys golf coach, assistant football coach, and student council sponsor.  He left in 2012 to become an assistant principal at Marshall County High School. He returned a year later to serve as the assistant principal and in 2014 became principal.  Mr. Adcox, "a.k.a. Coach Adcox", played baseball and attended Motlow State Community College. He received his bachelors degree from The University of Alabama and his masters degree from Middle Tennessee State University.  He is married to Lori Bivins Adcox, an RN at the Maury Regional Cancer Center. He has two sons, Kade and Kale, who are in the 11th and the 7th grade, respectively. They both attend Cornersville School.

Mr. Adcox has set his goal to see Cornersville High School's ACT lead as an example of success for other schools to follow.  "We want to give our students the best opportunity to succeed when they leave our school. By providing ACT prep in each individualized area by teachers who teach in those areas each day, we feel that our students are well-prepared to perform at their best.  We are very proud of what all we have accomplished in the success of our Bulldog Project 21 ACT prep program."
